TANGELLA STEPHENS

 

Tangella Stephens serves as the site director for the GEP site at Niner University. She is a native of Charlotte and has been with the organization for more than 20 years. She also has more than 30 years of experience working with children. 

 

Stephens has obtained her North Carolina Early Childhood credentials. She believes her destiny is to work with children because she believes that every child can be successful. Her philosophy on children is that she will make a difference in some children’s lives by setting an example. 

 

"I understand there is so much work to do, so I’m willing to roll up myself selves get my hands dirty, and invest in the students," says Stephens. "Too much is given, much is required."
