Greater Enrichment Program is an after school program that is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Child Development and ranked by CMS as the #1 reading tutorial program in the Supplemental Education Services Division for 2010. Program staff members are trained and qualified professionals who currently work in the field of education. Each staff member serves as a positive role model and must respect and provide positive encouragement to every student. Each program site has an onsite coordinator, six grade level teachers and three classroom assistants. Students from local colleges and universities serve as volunteers for the program.

Greater Enrichment Program contributes to a range of positive outcomes for students including academic, social and emotional health, safety and community engagement.
